Daly Waters
Australia’s original international airport, Daly Waters is located 3km off the Stuart Highway 600km south of Darwin. Built in 1930, the airstrip was first used by mail runs from Queensland and later became a refueling stop for Qantas on international flights. The pub was built in 1938 for the airstrip and today has a wacky display of memorabilia littering the walls and ceiling. You’ll find yourself constantly scanning your surrounds in amazement.
