Cradle Mountain

Cradle Mountain National Park is 161,000 hectares of rugged mountains, glacial lakes, forests and plenty of hiking tracks. The hiking tracks vary from easy to difficult and range in lengths depending on the time you have available. The most popular is the walk around Dove Lake, which takes you around to the base of Cradle Mountain and back again. There is an abundance of wildlife in the park, most of which are nocturnal and night tours are available. The weather can change in an instant, therefore be prepared.
