Carnarvon

Situated 904km north of Perth, known for its banana plantations. Warm all year, Carnarvon is an all round year tourist destination, ideal for boating, fishing, swimming, surfing and windsurfing or just relaxing. Walk the One Mile Jetty, built in 1897 for exporting produce to Fremantle. Carnarvon was the first port in the world to transport live stock. The OTC Dish erected in 1966 to assist in the space race, Carnarvon broadcasted the first visions of man on the moon.
